Silver jewellery develops character with age and wear, and should need very little care, but here are some tips for cleaning your jewellery:

Silver pieces
Sterling silver tarnishes naturally and may require occasional cleaning. To clean, gently polish your piece with a silver jewellery polishing cloth, or dip in silver dip and make sure it is rinsed thoroughly. Make sure you check before you use silver dip, as some designs with gem stones, such as opals, must not be dipped in silver cleaning liquid. Solid Gold Pieces
Mix a squeeze of mild dish detergent with warm water in a bowl. Put the gold item into the soap mixture and let sit for a few minutes. Use a soft toothbrush to gently scrub the jewellery. Remove item from soapy water, rinse well, and dry thoroughly with a soft cloth.
